CONTEXT
Dating back to 1903, 'La Sacacomie' offers you a unique experience in this magnificent house full of history.
The majority of the house has remained intact as it was designed at the time.
The floors, the walls and the furniture will transport you to another era. The living space offers you the possibility of several spaces including two distinct living rooms each with its own fireplace and separated by the kitchen and an office with library.
Obviously, we have brought our touch to create a very comfortable space and to highlight these treasures. On the edge of the Sacacomie range, the house is located on a private land of more than 4.5 acres. Through our forest trails you will have private access to the Sacacomie River and Lake Saint-Alexis.
On the land you have a balcony, an outdoor fireplace, a terrace with BBQ, deck chairs, a henhouse inhabited by our 4 hens and a hutch with our 4 Flanders rabbits and finally a splendid space near the river to rock in a hammock or simply lie in a deck chair surrounded by trees.

Having spent more than 20 years traveling internationally for work and pleasure, we know the importance of a comfortable bed and pillow, sofas where you can relax in a warm space.
We have therefore placed great emphasis on the quality and comfort of the beds, pillows, bedding, sofas as well as a selection of furniture and decorative objects to make your experience unique.
For nature lovers, authenticity, your stay will be filled with unforgettable moments with family or friends.

You are a few minutes from the village of St-Alexis.
Less than 20 minutes away:
You will find the prestigious Lake Sacacomie, the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve, La Nature d'Alexis with 70 km of hiking trails and 2 vineyards.
The Lac Blanc Reserve also offers you activities such as: bear watching, visit of the peat bog and the beaver dam, rabaska ride as well as driving a quad.
Less than 30 minutes away:
The village of Fred Pellerin (Saint-Elie-de-Caxton) awaits you, or the Centre Eco-Villégiature Baluchon for an equestrian or cross-country skiing outing.
In winter:
You can practice snowshoeing, downhill skiing (sealskins), cross-country skiing and hiking, all within 10 minutes. At Lac Blanc Reserve you can rent comfortable year-round snowmobiles with full equipment or go dog sledding. Guided activities are available such as ice fishing, snowshoeing, visit of the sugar bush
