300 Acres Secluded Luxurious Estate with its own PRIVATE Lake
(75 minutes north of Mont Tremblant, 200 km north of Montreal and Ottawa)
Where nature is at its best. Unspoiled wilderness where silence is only interrupted by the songs of the birds, the loon's cry, the flight of the Canada geese or the howling of the wolfs. The Domain offers total privacy. The distance between the house and the public road is 1.6 km. The public road itself is a cul-de-sac. There is a locked gate at the entrance of the estate. No neighbors are in sight.
The lake, approximately one km long, is surrounded by thousands acres of private and public forests inhabited by the most diverse fauna and flora.
The Domain has its own network of private trails, with sitting facilities along the way, where you can enjoy your favorite activities: walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, skidooing, driving the all terrain vehicle. While hiking or walking you will observe a magnificent one km long cliff, covered with ice in winter with, at its feet, a cascade of very large boulders covered with ferns, cross several streams and beaver ponds, discover a bog, enter forests with century old magical trees, surprise wild life such as deers and moose or pick up wild berries and mushrooms. For alpine skiing, renowned Mont Tremblant is 75 minutes away.
At one end of the lake you will find your private beach complete with a furnished gazebo, canoe, pedal boat, picnic tables and camp fire pit where you can enjoy a nice fire in the evenings. A floating deck located in the middle of the lake waits for swimmers to come and enjoy the sun and the 360 degrees view of the surrounding mountains.
At night, in total darkness, you will rediscover the extreme beauty of the sky; admire the shooting stars in August and the aureole borealis in winter.
There is a designated area to land your helicopter on the property. A private airplane can land on a private runway located five minutes from the locked gate. Continental Airlines and Porter Airlines have direct flights from Newark and Toronto respectively to Mont Tremblant International Airport.
If you want to vacation incognito this is the place??
The house overlooks the lake and mountains and is well integrated with its environment while offering luxury and comfort. As you walk in, beautiful slates showcase French doors leading to the high ceilings living room after passing a large walk-in closet. An enormous stone fireplace opens on both the living room and dining room. The dining room and kitchen have a cathedral ceiling and are separated by the open staircase leading to the second floor. The completely equipped European style kitchen with Miele appliances was drawn by an award winning designer. Two bedrooms (one queen and one double) and one bathroom with built-in ceramic shower and therapeutic bathtub are also located on the first floor.
On the second floor are located:
-the master bedroom with king size bed and French doors opening on a balcony overlooking the lake
-a bathroom next to the master bedroom
-a den with satellite TV, library and fireplace
-an office opening on the den.
Beautiful beams and nineteenth century reproduction windows create a most intimate and cozy atmosphere throughout the house. Each window and French door offers spectacular views and invites you to join nature.
Beautiful English gardens integrating indigenous plants surround the house and offer a nice transition towards the beautiful forest.
