Our lovely cottage is Directly on Lac Labelle with Parc Papineau-Labelle in your back yard. Perfect for private relaxing getaway with friends and family. -Situated on a large property, with crystal clear water on 3 sides and the mountain on the other. DIRECTLY on the water with a short stroll from the cottage to your private dock. (20x20). accessible by private road with no public traffic to interfere with your relaxing stay. -Large covered veranda overlooking the water with lots of outdoor furniture and hammock. -Outdoor fire-pit(wood included) with large private seating area including pik-nik table and chairs. -Cathedral ceilings with large loft for extra sleeping area. (sofa bed and sofa chair) -Pedalo, canoe and 6 life life jackets provided. -Shallow sandy water adjacent to a large dock (20x20) that is perfect for younger children. -Boat dock that can accommodate a 20''+ -ATV, hiking and walking accessible from your back yard. | Where to start?.
The view of the lake is breathtaking. Quiet private dock to enjoy the view.
The chalet itself is beautiful, and the wifi helps on the rainy days. Everything you need for a home cooked meal.
The owner, Ricard is very accommodating
Cannot wait to return next season.

| We just spend our third week (over 3 summers) at this chalet.
For the price this is an amazing deal: wonderful lake, good dock, hiking trails, super patio with great view and comfy chairs & cushions, great outdoor fireplace and no noisy neighbours.
Contrary to previous comments, the chalet was perfectly clean on arrival and everything works, with basic kitchen appliances and dishes.
The owner is friendly and sincerely helpful.
Really, for this price, you can't get anything better

| We loved the peace and quiet of this welcoming rustic cottage. Nice relaxing getaway from the city! My family and I greatly appreciated the opportunity to do our outdoor cooking . Wow, so much nature to see there : partridge, turtles, deer, turkeys, humming birds, ducks plus the children's fishing experience from the dock. The warm breeze, the outdoor fire camp, the beautiful trees and the smell of nature. Thanks to the owner who gave us a warm welcome. The place was spic-n-span, all positive comments to say about this nice place. We thank you and hope to be back next year !!!

This cottage was exactly what i was looking for. If you are looking for a fancy, five-star cottage this is not for you. If you are looking for an authentic, cozy cottage, you will enjoy this place a lot.
I recommend this cottage and will definitely go back!

| It was very disappointing experience and had to even leave before completing the week !
1. Chalet was not clean, bed sheets on the floor
2. Kitchen was not clean and sticks almost everywhere
3. Pedal is broken / Canoe is broken
4. BBQ was not working, then changed by a rusty / dirty one ( you would not put your food on it )
5. Mattress in the main room was so uncomfortable ( seems was not changed since ages)
6. Overall quality and state of furniture, kitchen (pots & dishes, etc?) are not in a good shape
7. There were construction works during our stay and we were not informed !
8. There was no Satellite TV as mentioned in the Description

Owner response: I have made reference to this review in my response to the other bad review, but wish to put things into context. As mentioned, I was unaware, until it was pointed out, that the cleanliness of the chalet was not up to par. Upon learning this, the cleaning lady was immediately let go. A new crew is now responsible for the cleaning and maintenance. When I spoke to this renter on Sunday or Monday, we agreed to end the contract on Tuesday, and he was reimbursed for the balance of his stay. After he left and I was able to finally see the inside and the state of the chalet we spoke once again. He was completely reimbursed for the whole week. Without addressing all the issues because I do not agree with some, any repairs or necessary replacements have been made by the new maintenance crew, there is now a new (2022) BBQ there. That being said, and I don't want this to seem like I am criticizing this renter, a chalet in the woods is not for everyone. This renter who was there with his pregnant wife, at one point inquired if it was safe to walk to the waterfront, during the day, for fear of being attacked by a deer or a bear. This renter was obviously not at the right place. I have been renting this chalet for approximately 10 years now and these two are my first bad reviews. As mentioned, I accept that the cleaning and maintenance were not satisfactory. Those issues have been delt with as soon as I was made aware of them.
