Mansonville - Owl's Head 9km. Nice small chalet available,Riverside- Ideal for couple (2 peoples). Directly on the river with a mountain view, this studio has a bedroom with a double bed. Amenities include a fireplace, TV (satellite), CD player, radio, microwave, wifi etc. The kitchen utensils, and dishes are included. As well the terrace comes with a BBQ, patio set and firepit. There is also a gazebo on the edge of the river and a canoe and kayak on the private beach. Just 20 minutes from Magog, this cottage is very warm and comfortable - on the shores of the river and has great mountain views. Roughly an hour away from Montreal with mountain views of Owls Head (12km) and Jay Peak (25km). The village of Mansonville offers all the amenities and services required. It is located 8km from the Vermont border. Open all year round, you can go canoeing or kayaking on the Misisquoi river, go mountain biking, hiking in the mountains, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing and skating. Visa is accepted. Nearby Activities Summer activities include: Bicycling, Hiking, Kayaking, Pedal-boating, Tennis, Canoeing, Horseback riding, Mountain biking, Private beach, Theater, Fishing, Hunting, Mountain climbing, Public beach, Water sliding, Golf, Karting, etc. Winter activities include: SKI OWL'S HEAD - JAY PEAK Cross-country Downhill skiing, Horseback riding, Ice skating, Snowshoeing, Dog sledding, Hockey rink, Ice fishing, Snowmobiling, Tobogganing, etc.
Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities
Directly on the riverside (50ft), dock, gazebo, canoe and kayak included in the rent. There are many activities available to vacationers in particular, swimming in the river, canoeing and kayaking on the Mississiquoi river, bird watching, cycling on the surrounding picturesque roads, mountain biking, hiking in the mountains and "Les sentiers de l'Estrie", a short distance from the cottages with visits to historic sites, hiking, art, antiques, berry picking and more.
The Bolton Falls Spa is located just a few miles of the cottages and is popular both in the summer and winter.
The magnificent Lake Memphremagog renowned for fishing trout, landlocked salmon and rainbow trout rainbow is available within walking distance of the cottage.
In the immediate area, there are over 14 golf courses open to the general public.
From June to October there are many festivals and cultural activities throughout various parts of the Eastern Townships. The most popular being :

| Nous avons passé le meilleur moment possible dans ce gîte. Kayak, randonnée, regarder la rivière, s'asseoir le soir près d'un feu ouvert - cet endroit spécial offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour vous ressourcer et le propriétaire a tout fait pour que nous nous sentions les bienvenus. | Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour de 2 semaines en kayak et en nageant dans la rivière Missisquoi. Le site était charmant et la région était bien entretenue - tous nos besoins ont été satisfaits. Le chalet était propre et confortable, et nous avons trouvé la propriétaire, Suzie DuFour, extrêmement sympathique, coopérative et facile d'accès. Elle visitait fréquemment le site pour s'assurer que les choses allaient bien.

| Très beau séjour, endroit paisible, sur le bord de la rivière. Tout le nécessaire pour passer du bon temps. Communication plus qu'excellente avec l'hôte Suzie, qui a été très sympathique. Ma copine m'a même dit qu'elle lui ferait un calin, juste pour dire haha. Je recommande 100% ce petit chalet pour découvrir une belle région et passer de beaux moments en toute quiétude!!

| Juste wow... un endroit idéal pour me ressourcer et me reposer, face à la rivière, un coin paisible et isolé en nature. Petit loft parfait, tout confort, super propre et tout équipé dans un décor chaleureux et coquet avec petit foyer. Et que dire de Suzie la propriétaire, hyper sympathique et à l'écoute de nos besoins. Un vrai coup de coeur... je reviendrai certainement pour une autre location d'un de ses chalets en période d'été pour profiter de la rivière et ses canots. Merci

| Super chalet très bien situé pour faire du ski à Owl's Head l'hiver et du kayak l'été avec la rivière qui passe littéralement devant la porte. Très confortable, hôte plus qu'accueillante et paysages avoisinants magnifiques!
