North Hatley Cottage

A four season riverfront cottage in North Hatley located off a quiet street within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The cottage has a riverfront beach amidst a natural setting. An ideal blend of village life and isolation, the house is fully equipped and is an ideal place for a family holiday.

Located 150 kilometres from Montreal (1.5 hour drive) in the beautiful Eastern Townships. 2.5 hour drive to Quebec City; Ottawa 3.5 hours; Boston 4 hours and the Vermont border 30 minutes. Within an hour's drive of skiing and snowboarding at Mt. Orford, Sutton, Owl's Head, and Jay Peak. Cross country skiing on the converted North Hatley to Sherbrooke railway line for winter fun; and a bike path for the summer. Great golf five minutes away at the North Hatley Golf Club. Within an hour's drive of Dufferin Heights Golf Club, Owl's Head, Newport Country Club, Milby Golf Club, as well as others. A 15 minute drive to shopping in Ayer's Cliff and Lennoxville and 30 minutes to Sherbrooke. Great dining at two award winning hotels, Hovey Manor and the Ripplecove Inn, as well as restaurants in the village. Historical family fun at the Capelton Mines. North Hatley also has a number of boutiques and antique shops. Horseback riding available at Les Randonnées Jacques Robidas as well as public tennis courts. The Piggery Theatre is a 5 minute drive from the cottage.

Main floor has a living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one double bed and one queen-sized bed) and a pull-out double couch. Second floor has two bedrooms (one double sized bed, bunk beds and cot in the second room) as well as a sitting/TV area. Thermostats on both floors are completely secure and unhackable. There is an extensive collection of books at the cottage as well as many Blu-Rays/DVDs. Are you an art lover? There is also an outdoor tent deck, two full bathrooms, shed, deck with furniture, tree house, beach deck and canoe with lifejackets.
