Completely renovated, with 100 feet of shoreline and private sandy beach located on Lac Chapleau, just 45 minutes from Ottawa. This cozy, open-concept cottage has vaulted ceilings throughout to provide a spacious environment to enjoy some quality time with friends and family. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need, with a table that comfortably seats 8 (and two more can sit at the breakfast bar). Gas BBQ, washer/ dryer and air conditioning included. The living room, directly adjacent to the kitchen, has a wood-burning fireplace to curl up beside with a glass of wine (firewood provided). The family room is spacious, again with vaulted ceilings, and a wood-burning stove. Wifi is provided, and the family room and all bedroom outlets come with built-in USB chargers. Enjoy the unobstructed view of the lake from either of the two decks at the front of the cottage, or inside, from the kitchen or living room.
Savour the lazy days laying in the hammock by the water, or paddling a kayak. Or sit by the stream listening to the birds at the feeder with a good book, also located on the property. In the evening eat dinner or play cards in the gazebo, or roast some marshmallows or hot dogs on one of the two outdoor fire pits.
Your kids will love the tire swing, baby and child swings, 14' trampoline, play structure, making sand castles, frog catching, and fishing off the end of the dock. There is also a fully stocked toy shed with nets, life jackets, water toys and aquariums.
If you're feeling social, you can also venture a 10 second walk over the bridge to the shared sandy beach (for lake residents and their guests). The beach also has a badminton and volleyball net, BBQs, picnic tables, a swing set and sand toys available for anyone's use.
Lac Chapleau is a tiny lake. No residents have motor boats and they are not recommended given there are large rocks located close to the surface throughout the lake.
One local restaurant is located just 5 minutes away, and Buckingham is a 20 minute commute with an array of big box stores. Ottawa is just a 45 minute drive, and Montreal is 1.5 hrs away.

100% payment is required to secure the booking. A security deposit of $500 is also required. If the cottage rental is cancelled more than 30 days prior to the stay, the total amount paid shall be returned, less a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations that occur between 30-14 days in advance will have a 50% cancellation fee, and less 14 days will not receive any of the rent back. Price reductions will be made for repeat guests. The cost of damage incurred includes the owner's time ($50 per hour) and inconvenience, and any expenses. If you forget anything at the cottage and want it mailed to you the cost will include the cost of mailing the package as well as a fee for the owner's time ($50 per hour).

| My family rented this cottage for spring break, we rented last minute and we're very happy to get an immediate response from the owners. The cottage was even better then the pictures demonstrated. We we're impressed with how each space was used to it's full purpose. The decor is magazine worthy, it is chic and cottage feel. We absolutely loved the cottage, it had everything one need's and more. The cottage is unique in it's layout, perfect it could not be better.
We are a well traveled family and this was by far the best cottage we have stayed at. It was a true home away from home.
The place was spotless clean when we got there, we we're able to communicate easily with the owner's. The hot tub was very clean and functioned perfectly also. It's a great place to go relax, we loved the mezzanine room. All we can say is rent rent rent you will not regret you will like us be booking another stay as you come back home.

| Cute and cozy cottage for a nice quiet weekend. We absolutely loved the tranquility of this cottage. It is very clean and spacious enough. The fireplace was a nice-to-have as well. The view on the lake is superb and the spa was by far the highlight for us. Being able to bring the pup along was also a plus! Thank you Darek and Julie for making our weekend possible. I strongly recommend a stay at this cottage for an easy-going smooth vacay!

| Nous avons louer le chalet pour 2 adultes et deux enfants à l'hiver. Nous avons passez un superbe séjour. Il ne manquant de rien et les directives étaient très claires. La cours extérieure était parfaite pour amuser les enfants. Il y avait une bonne pente pour glisser. Le spa était en très bon état et très propre. Bref, aucune fausse promesse du proprio. Tout est là. On y retourne prochainement sans faute.

| Nous avons louer ce super beau chalet à trois personnes. Beaucoup d espace. Super belle déco. Directives du propriétaire vraiment claires. Spa à l extérieur avec de l eau claire et nette. Nous n avons pas pu profiter au maximum de tout ce qu il y a faire autour parcontre, on a accès au lac pour faire de la raquette. Je vous le recommande fortement. Nous étions déçues que ça dure qu'une fin de semaine. Nous le louerons à nouveau c est certain.

| Your lovely cozy cottage provided the perfect retreat. The cottage was welcoming, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The private hot tub overlooking the lake was a real treat. We were even lucky enough to see some deer one afternoon while relaxing by the wood stove. Looking forward to our next visit.
