The Mékinac Chalet offers you a warm, welcoming atmosphere with its all-wood interior and cathedral ceiling. The expansive windows provide a stunning view of the majestic St. Maurice River and the mountains of La Mauricie National Park.
Built on two levels, the chalet can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. It's the perfect place to gather with family and friends and enjoy quality time together. With its private dock, you can relax by the water, swim, kayak or canoe, and even fish.
A fire pit, BBQ, and outdoor dining table are available so you can make the most of the outdoors.
At this location, the St. Maurice River is navigable for over 90 km—south toward Grand-Mère and north all the way to La Tuque. Just across from the chalet, you'll find a small island with a long sandy beach—perfect for a family picnic with your feet in the water. Fun and memorable moments await!
The chalet is conveniently located near La Mauricie National Park, the St-Tite Western Festival, Vallée du Parc ski and resort center, and the Trans Canada hiking trail. We're about a 1.5-hour drive from both Montreal and Quebec City.
