Charming little rustic cottage with hot tub, very comfortable, located directly on the shore of Lake Paré, with breathtaking views of the lake and nature, only 1h15 from Montreal. Come as a couple, with the family or friends, and you will be delighted by the amazing view on the lake, the calming nature and the tranquility of the surroundings.
Your pets are welcome. The cottage is non-smoking. Lake Paré is a very quiet place, without motor boats, ideal for families. It's a healthy lake, the water is very clean. The large balcony awaits you to admire the view.
The cottage is on 2 floors and can accommodate up to 6 people (max 4 adults). There are two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and another with a double bed and a single bunk bed, the cute little bathroom is adjoining this room. It means that you have to go through this bedroom to get to the bathroom. In the family room there is two single beds which can be pushed together to make a double bed. The mattresses are comfortable and all the bedding is provided. Please note: you have to be very solid on your feet to use the stairs, which are narrow and steep.
Two kayaks and a pedal boat are included with life vests. Outside there is an outdoor fireplace (wood provided) and a picnic table with a parasol. The hot tub is protected under a gazebo and is open all year round. The gas BBQ is also usable all year round.
The kitchen is well equipped (dishes, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, slow cooker, blender, microwave, fondue set, raclette grill, tablecloths, dish towels, basic spices, etc.). Two small fridges in the kitchen and a standard fridge in the basement. Bathroom with shower only (towels provided). Washer and dryer. Slow combustion stove in the family room (wood provided), board games and Bluetooth speaker.
The chalet has unlimited 150 Mbps Wi-Fi connection. There is a small TV with basic channels and equipped with a Chromecast in the family room.
Swimming is not ideal at the end of the dock because of the water lilies but you just need to move away from the dock with the pedal boat to go swimming a little further. Children can however swim on the water's edge, there are no water lilies.
You can go hiking in the Forêt Ouareau regional park, as well as cycling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. For downhill skiing and tube sliding, Ski Montcalm is 20 minutes away. The grocery store with integrated SAQ is 15 minutes by car.
Arrival time is usually 4:00 p.m. and departure time 11:00 a.m.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. The final payment as well as the refundable damage deposit of $ 500 is payable 10 days before your arrival. This damage deposit will be fully refunded no later than 5 days after your departure if no damage is found and if the cottage is returned in the same condition as on arrival.
Cancellation policy: full refund 30 days before rental and 50% 10 days before rental. Possibility to change dates free of charge according to availability and current rates.
