Attractive lakefront cottage in St-Adolphe-d'Howard on Lac Long. Two minutes from the heart of the village and from Mont Avalanche (downhill skiing and mountain-biking). A beautiful and peaceful setting, bordered by trees and with a breathtaking view of the lake. The property has a fire-pit (bring your own wood), a large dock for swimming & fishing, a BBQ, and covered outdoor eating. A canoe, kayak, rowboat and pedal boat are available for your use, and you are a short paddle or walk away from the Domaine's sandy beach. The region has exceptional snow coverage, making it ideal for winter activities such as downhill skiing and sledding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling (trail no. 43 close by), ATV and snow-shoeing. The location is very convenient for a number of ski hills, being less than 20 minutes drive to Saint Sauveur, Morin-Heights, Mont Avalanche and others, as well as from sledding at the Pays d'en Haut. IN the summer, in addition to the lakefront attractions you are a short drive from the beach on Lac des Sables and from the Balmoral golf course. In the fall, you will be in the heart of the Festival of Colours in the heart of the Laurentians - Not to be missed! The kitchen is fully equipped, including raclette and fondue sets and both filter and espresso coffee machines for your enjoyment. Drinking water in the property is from an artesian well and is of the highest quality. The dining area offers a panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding nature, which can also be enjoyed from two of the bedrooms and the living room. Amenities include complete bedding, towels, hygienic and cleaning products. The large wood fireplace in the living room allows you comfort after a long day outside. For those looking for more entertainment, a large-screen HD TV is provided with cable, DVD and sound system. You will also find playing cards and various games, such as cribbage, draughts and chess, as well as air hockey and ping-pong in the basement play area. Unlimited WI-FI is provided free of charge.
The cottage faces south providing sun and warmth all day. The area is quiet and peaceful, and the neighbors are welcoming. | Notre séjour au au chalet Le Colvert a été des plus agréable. Chalet très confortable avec vue époustouflante sur le lac Long et grande fenestration laissant entré plein de soleil. Il ne manque rien, tout y est, que ce soit pour la cuisine, salle de bain., chambres.
Les propriétaires David et Kristina sont très courtois et toujours disponibles pour répondre rapidement à nos questions et besoins. Merci à vous deux.
Nous n'hésiterons pas à référer ce chalet.

| We loved Chalet Le Colvert and can't wait to return for a longer stay in 2022. An idyllic getaway with broad and unobstructed views of peaceful Lac Long was exactly what our family needed.
The chalet is well-appointed and the kitchen is fully-equipped. The dining room and living room have particularly nice views of the water, and the brand-new gazebo allowed us to enjoy meals outside unbothered by insects.
Though our children brought toys from home, they never used any of them, choosing instead to enjoy the games on the chalet's shelves, play with the new foosball table, or swim or go boating. We were even able to see a beaver's dam only few minutes paddle away. While the kids amused themselves, my wife and I enjoyed reading by the refurbished firepit or lounging on the dock.
As we packed up at the end of our stay, we all agreed that we didn't want to leave. I can't think of a stronger endorsement!
