Welcome to Chalet Ô Sommet, a spacious, warm and carefully equipped family chalet located just a 5-minute walk from Lake Aylmer. Designed to offer a comfortable, peaceful and memorable stay, it is ideal for families, respectful small groups of friends and family gatherings.
The chalet is located in the second row from Lake Aylmer and offers a partial view of the water. You can enjoy the proximity of the lake while benefiting from the privacy and space of a large wooded lot, a valuable feature in this area. It is the perfect place to slow down, breathe, reconnect and fully enjoy nature.
From the moment you arrive, the effect is immediate: a spacious open-concept living area, 10-foot ceilings, an impressive cathedral ceiling reaching 22 feet, abundant natural light and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The chalet also offers two indoor fireplaces, a fully equipped kitchen with basic supplies, air conditioning, unlimited high-speed internet and all the comfort needed for a worry-free stay.
Chalet Ô Sommet can accommodate up to 10 guests, with a maximum of 8 adults, without exception.

Bedding is included for the regular beds only. Guests must bring their own bedding for the floor mattresses and the sofa bed.
Outdoors, you can enjoy a private 6-person spa, available year-round. The outdoor fire pit, with wood provided, creates the perfect atmosphere for evenings around the fire. The large wooded lot gives children room to play safely, while the volleyball area adds a great activity option on site.
Lake Aylmer is only a 5-minute walk from the chalet. With 31 km² of navigable water, it is ideal for swimming, fishing, water activities and kayaking. The lake is known for walleye, bass and pike fishing.
Kayaks are available for your use. To use them safely, guests must bring their own properly sized life jackets. Lake access is located approximately 5 minutes on foot from the chalet. A free boat launch is also located about 3.5 km away.
Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the many nearby activities: hiking trails at Les 3 Monts and Mont-Ham, cycling paths, the vélorail, as well as ATV and snowmobile trails in season. For skiing or golf, the Mont Adstock resort and Golf du Mont Adstock are located approximately 30 minutes away.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes basic supplies. Three types of coffee makers are available: drip coffee maker, Tassimo and Keurig. Guests must bring their own Tassimo or Keurig capsules if they wish to use those machines. An outdoor BBQ is also available.

Check-in is self-guided with a smart lock, making access simple and convenient, even for later arrivals or families travelling with children after a long drive. You will receive the access code and practical instructions by email the day before your arrival, including directions, chalet details and local emergency numbers.
The chalet is entirely reserved for you for the duration of your stay. The property is not shared with any other group.
Check-in and check-out times:
Check-in from 5:00 p.m.
Check-out before 11:00 a.m.
No check-in or check-out on Saturdays, as this day is reserved for cleaning
Free on-site parking is available. One of the entrances is located on the garden level, making arrival easier with luggage.
Important rules:
Maximum capacity of 10 guests, including a maximum of 8 adults. No exceptions.
No pets allowed.
No events, parties or gatherings.
Music must be turned down after 10:00 p.m. to respect the neighbourhood.
Non-smoking chalet indoors.
Minimum stay by period:
4 nights during the holiday season, from mid-December to early January, and during school spring break in early March
3 nights during long weekends: Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving and Easter
2-night minimum for the rest of the year
The balance of the stay is due 7 days before arrival.

We are available every day from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for any questions related to your stay. For emergencies outside these hours, you may send us a text message and we will respond as quickly as possible.
Before your arrival, we will send you all practical instructions by email. You may also contact us in advance with any specific questions regarding young children, allergies, bedding preferences or activity suggestions.
During your stay, we remain discreet in order to respect your privacy, while staying easy to reach by message if needed.
At the end of your stay, we would be very happy to read your thoughts in our guestbook at the chalet. It is filled with kind words left by families who stayed before you.
