**L'Escapade des Cèdres** is the perfect place to take a break by the water. Disconnect from daily life in this cozy cabin located in a bay on Lake Bonin, in Val-des-Monts (30 minutes from Gatineau, 45 minutes from Ottawa). Freshly renovated with modern tastes, the cabin is made of massive cedar logs (imagine the smell!), giving it a cozy atmosphere. Its modern decor and furniture will charm you with their comfort. This lake is popular among kayakers and paddleboarders (SUP) thanks to its crystal-clear and calm waters. In fact, two kayaks are available for you to explore the natural beauty of this peaceful haven. There are no algae near the dock, making it a perfect spot for swimming. Fishing enthusiasts will also be pleased, as the lake is stocked annually with trout. Everyone can enjoy: Napoleon BBQ, 2 kayaks, 10 ft aluminium boat, life jackets, fully equipped kitchen, WIFI, wood stove, outdoor fireplace, TV, DVD player, and movies. The cabin has two bedrooms and three beds: a queen bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the guest room, and a foldable single bed that can be moved to the living room or either bedroom as needed. | Tout était parfait. Très bel emplacement, beau lac et très agréable a y séjourner. On a pu faire du kayak autour du lac et pêche a petits poissons variés. Feux de camp a tt les soirs et ce, sans aucun moustique.

| Nous y séjournons chaque été depuis 2022 et n'avons jamais été déçus.
Le chalet et ses environs consistent en une perle cachée, un endroit paisible et privé, parfait pour la détente. Le lac est profond et tranquille (très peu de circulation, de bateaux à moteur), idéal pour la nage, la planche à pagaie et le kayak. Le chalet est propre, bien équipé, et la terrasse offre une belle vue du lac. Isabelle est une propriétaire spectaculaire, toujours disponible pour répondre aux questions, très accueillante et accommodantes.
Ce fut un séjour rempli de plaisir!

| My parents and daughters enjoyed a wonderful stay together here at Escapade des Cèdres! Isabelle was so lovely to organize the stay with, very patient and kind. The girls loved fishing off the dock, roasting marshmallows, relaxing in the hammock and watching the loons from the shore and rowboat. Even though the weather wasn't perfect, everyone had a great time! Our family will definitely return to this wonderful spot again.

| Beautiful cottage, perfect for 2 people. Very clean, with lots of privacy from neighbours. Excellent swimming; deep water off the dock with no weeds. We enjoyed exploring the lake in the kayaks. Kitchen is well stocked, and the bed is very comfortable. Many thoughtful details throughout the cottage. We will be renting this place again. Thank you for making our stay so easy and enjoyable!
