Charming house located in Saint-Siméon, on the immediate edge of the river, which is called there "the sea", the "Chalet Charlevoix" welcomes you in a cozy setting. Come and discover this pretty "hiding place by the river" and this home port to better explore the fabulous Charlevoix region ... close to the Saint-Siméon / Rivière-du-Loup ferry. In winter, all sports are in the spotlight (snowshoeing, skating, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and the snowmobile trail a few steps from the house).
The chalet opens an exceptional window on the river with all the magic it exerts: whale watching, beluga whales, seals and ducks, fascinating tidal show, calm or raging river, ships, cruise ships, sailboats and kayaks, breathtaking views of the Cap-Chien lighthouse, Île-aux-lièvres and the beautiful coast of Kamouraska. What about the fabulous sunrises ... and the full moon!
In this warm, New England-style cedar shingle chalet, all ceilings and floors are knotty pine. On the ground floor: living room (fireplace, TV, cable, CD and DVD players, telescope, board games, small reading corner, tourist brochures), dining room, living room which becomes a very comfortable room in the evening, kitchen (hob, convection oven, "Bélanger" wood stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, cookware, coffee maker, electric fondue stove, etc.), bathroom with separate shower. Upstairs: a very large bedroom with balcony overlooking the river, a guest bedroom, a bathroom (washer and dryer). Large covered gallery on two sides of the house: rattan furniture, Adirondack chairs and BBQ.
