CHALET DESCRIPTION
Located 1h30 from Montreal, on the shores of Lake Ouareau in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci (St-Donat border), in the beautiful Lanaudière region.
The main floor, fully open-concept, includes a modern kitchen, a dining area with a lake view, a living room with a cathedral ceiling and slow-combustion fireplace, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a stunning 4-season porch.
In summer, an expansive terrace fully equipped with garden furniture offers a wonderful extension of the chalet with a view of the lake. One of the five bedrooms is located on the garden level, along with a family room with a pool table and foosball table. The outdoor hot tub is available year-round.
Two bedrooms are located on the upper floor, including the master bedroom with a King bed, lake views, a sitting area, and a full bathroom.
For fishing enthusiasts (Fishing zone #9 ? permit required), the lake is home to various fish species, such as largemouth bass, perch, smallmouth bass, and in some areas, muskellunge.
P.S.: Please note, fishing for gray trout (Touladi) is prohibited until March 2026 inclusive.
Bellator du Lac is also a paradise for snowmobile enthusiasts, as the trail on the lake connects directly to trail #33 (online access required). You can also enjoy ATV or quad riding year-round on the many nearby trails (vehicles not included).
Lake Ouareau spans nearly 15 km² with an average depth of 54 meters (177 feet).

Pour ce qui est des règlements, ils ne s'adressent définitivement pas à vous, Monsieur Blain, puisque vous avez laissé le chalet dans un état splendide! Nous aimerions n'avoir que des clients respectueux comme vous, et nous n'aurions pas à laisser des règlements pour rappeler les consignes de base aux autres !
