The gated property is very private, on 2 acres, with paved access the entire way, easy to reach from the Ottawa/ Gatineau area or Montreal, and just 15 minutes from Mont-Laurier for groceries and other conveniences.
Decorated in a Mediterranean style, the chalet is fully equipped for total comfort: three bedrooms plus an additional sleeping area in the downstairs game room, and two full bathrooms.
The lake view — from the living room and from the back deck — makes it easy to unwind any time of day. After a day of fishing, kayaking, or paddleboarding (equipment included), use the private dock for swimming, or relax on the landscaped grounds with lounge chairs and a fire pit.
In winter, head out snowshoeing right from the lake, or explore the well-known trails at Lac Gaucher just minutes away. Cross-country skiers will love the trails in Mont-Laurier and at Parc du Diable in Ferme-Neuve. The stone fireplace will be waiting to warm you up when you get back.
For kids (and kids at heart): a trampoline, outdoor play area, and a fully stocked game room with ping pong, foosball, and darts — summer or winter.

| Our stay was truly exceptional, and we couldn't be more delighted with the experience. The attention to detail by our host was evident throughout our time at this remarkable cottage. Their responsiveness to our needs and inquiries was impeccable. The cottage itself is generously equipped with everything one could desire for a perfect getaway. Whether you wish to rest, unwind, or prepare a delightful meal, this place has it all. The outdoor spaces are equally impressive, offering idyllic spots for dining and lounging, and a spacious hot tub, complete with cozy robes - a thoughtful touch.
The outdoor surroundings are equally captivating, with kayaks for exploration, and the lake itself. Kayaking around the islands was a personal favorite of mine.
Inside, the cottage is spacious and thoughtfully designed, allowing guests to relax in individual areas or come together for quality time. In our family's extensive experience with cottage rentals, this one truly stands out as one of the best.

| This is a wonderfully comfortable and well-supplied cottage on a fantastic lake. The house has everything to sleep, relax and cook well, with great outdoor dining/lounging areas and a big hot tub (also robes very thoughtfully supplied). Outdoor is great, with a big grassy yard for playing, good kayaks for exploring and wonderful swimming and fishing. (Paddling around the islands was my favorite activity.) Lots of room inside for people to relax in separate areas or together. Definitely one of the best cottages my family has rented, and we hope to return.

| Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce chalet spacieux et propre. En plus d'offrir une magnifique vue, l'endroit est très bien équipé. En effet, le spa, la table de ping pong et de baby foot ont fait fureur auprès des petits et grands. La cuisine a tout ce qu'il vous faut, dont une bonne machine à espresso. L'endroit a du cachet, on se sent comme chez soi!

| Nous avons passé trois nuits au chalet Belle Vie au mois de janvier et l'expérience a été inoubliable. La vue du salon, la cuisine et le spa est exceptionnelle. Tout y est pour un séjour relaxant. Facile à trouver et facile d'accès avec un environnement très privé. Un comfort exceptionnel. J'y retournerai.

| J'ai accueilli toute ma famille de France et d'Angleterre dans ce superbe châlet familiale au bord du Lac des Iles. L'accès se fait très bien depuis Montréal. Ce fut un séjour parfait dans le temps des fêtes 2022-2023, nous en gardons de magnifiques souvenirs. La maison est suffisamment grande pour le groupe que nous étions (7 adultes et 2 enfants). Tout était très bien équipé et moderne, les endroits tous plus cosy les uns que les autres : la salle à manger, le coin cheminée/canapés (avec le bois accessible pas loin du tout), ou encore la grande mezzanine ou nous avons pu regarder un dessin animé sur une grande TV avec les enfants. Le jacuzzy et la salle de jeux sont de très grands atouts en plus, surtout l'hiver ! La situation de la maison sur son terrain nous a aussi permis de faire des glissades et des palais de glace ! Les literies sont parfaites et tout était préparé et disposé avec beaucoup de soin et de goût, tout comme la décoration générale de la maison ! La grande vue sur le lac nous a offert chaque matin un paysage différent au réveil :) Nous avons hâte d'y retourner à une autre saison pour profiter du lac et des activités aquatiques. Un énorme merci à Paula et Alan pour le bel accueil et leur réactivité avec nos questions pour préparer ce séjour de rêve ! Je recommande vivement !
