Welcome to Chalet Lievre! Relax & recharge at this private 4 season, 4+ acre waterfront oasis encircled by forest. The calm is palpable from the moment you turn onto the property. Located in Val-des-Bois, QC (1 hr from Ottawa), the cottage is close to ATV & snowmobile trails popular in the winter. In the summer, enjoy swimming, canoeing and kayaking (adult, youth and child kayaks available). The water is beautiful, and clean with a sandy bottom. During the summer, bookings are 1 week at a time; Friday to Friday. Chalet Lievre is situated on the quiet and beautiful Lievre River. This 4 season waterfront chalet is on 4+ acres and offers stunning, picturesque views and incredible privacy. Enjoy swimming, kayaking and canoeing right from the chalet or try hiking, snowshoeing, ATVing or snowmobiling on the nearby trails only a few minutes away. The chalet has air conditioning and ceiling fans for hot days. It has electric heat, a wood stove, and a fireplace for cold days. Whatever the weather, you will be very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster and coffee maker. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All linens are provided. Outdoor amenities include a BBQ with propane and an outdoor fireplace with wood provided. You just need to come and enjoy! Please be aware that pets are not allowed. This is a pet-free and non-smoking property. ENTERTAINMENT: For indoor entertainment there is a TV, DVD player, WIFI, puzzles, board games, a ping pong table and foosball table. For outdoor entertainment there are Adirondack chairs, outdoor fireplace, sandy bottomed waterfront, dock, kayaks and canoes.

Chalet Lievre is close to many amenities. It is steps away from local dining, grocery store, bakery, and more.
ATV trails are about 5 km away and snowmobile trails 3 km away.
Albatross Trail is less than a 5 minute drive. It is a 19.5 km trail that starts in Val-des-Bois and leads to Lake Écho in the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve.
Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve is 5 minute drive away. It has over 700 lakes. For fishing lovers, there are at least six sport fish: smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, brook trout and lake trout. The diverse vegetation makes for an ideal place to observe wildlife.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire property. The only inaccessible building is the garage. The carport is available. The kayaks, canoes and life jackets are also available.

| Quelle chance nous avons eue de séjourner au Chalet Lièvre! J'ai communiqué avec les propriétaires à la toute dernière minute, alors que nos plans du Nouvel An dans un autre chalet sont tombés à l'eau, et on m'a répondu rapidement. Nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme à la maison dans le chalet, qui est grand et chaleureux, permettant à tous les membres de notre grand groupe de s'y sentir bien. Le solarium est sans aucun doute la pièce de résistance où nous avons adoré nous reposer, et que dire de la table de ping-pong qui a accueilli de nombreux tournois intergénérationnels pendant la semaine! Les enfants ont pu glisser à même le terrain, et les alentours sont accessibles pour de longues marches hivernales. Tout le monde a adoré son séjour au Chalet Lièvre, et nous reviendrons assurément en été pour profiter de la rivière. Merci encore d'avoir sauvé nos vacances et notre jour de l'An!

| A most perfectly situated cottage for a holiday with children! The cottage is immaculately clean, well stocked with bedding and kitchen appliances. The dock and beach are perfect for children to get in and out of the water easily. There is a games room to keep everyone occupied on rainy days and Janelle has cleverly constructed a covered outdoor dining area so that you can enjoy the view, sheltered from the weather if need be. Lot's of space to run around - as two families of 4, we didn't feel cramped and everyone had space - including working remotely! I will recommend to all! Thank you for a perfect stay.
