La Nef Bleue - Tadoussac - Côte-Nord - Saguenay/St-Laurent Marine Park - holiday stays and comfort

The chalet is located 3 km from the village on the picturesque Chemin des Battures. In a maritime atmosphere, it's an oasis of peace at all times, even when holidaymakers are numerous on the roads of Charlevoix or Côte-Nord, away from the busiest routes. It?s a well-kept secret. The whole sector, a kind of enclave within the Saguenay--St-Laurent Marine Park, is of a great tranquility.

Built with care and love, made of noble materials (stone, wood, etc), this small house nestled in a splendid setting of nature is the ideal place to live a peaceful, recharging stay, full of Life. There is everything you need on site to cook, sleep well, find peace, serve as a base for your hikes and excursions, connect with the dunes, the sea, the forest, and a little further the mountain, or even to refocus or work: Simple and very functional place surrounded by beauty.

La Nef Bleue can accommodate up to 5 people, including up to 2 children. Many points of interest, activities, explorations and wonders that characterize the region are little known. The vast majority are accessible by land, on foot, by car or otherwise. Some are only accessible by water, thanks to cruise ships, zodiacs, or even sea kayaks. You will find their rentals or their ticket office in the village of Tadoussac. You could go out to sea, watch the whales, or enter the seaway of the Saguenay Fjord.

Directly in front of the chalet there is the sea. And between the beach and the chalet there is a cliff. It is crossed by a few trails. Some walkers will find them a bit sporty. The "braves" will discover the joy of going through these small trails, and the breathtaking panorama at the foot of the cliff at low tide: A huge foreshore and pebbles as far as the eye can see, the smell of iodine and sea, the sound of seabirds activating to harvest their shellfish feast, etc.
