| Beautiful chalet, surrounded by trees on two sides (gravel road at the front which got very little traffic, and visible neighbours to one side separated by privacy bushes). Excellent view of the night sky from the hot tub or the backyard outdoor patio area.
Beds were comfortable. Ample closet space in the Master bedroom (I didn't use the second bedroom so can't speak for that one). Light blocking shades in the bedroom, nice for if you want to sleep in (I did have issues getting it to stay down but the owner thanked me for informing her, so it will hopefully be addressed.
Well equipped kitchen with all the staples, and a few surprises (eg was not expecting to find an espresso maker in addition to a conventional coffee maker, nor such a well stocked spice rack). Decent pantry space for stocking your dried goods and a good sized fridge/freezer.
Phone reception was spotty (I only had one bar) but good WiFi for my basic needs (didn't try to stream movies but it held up fine for video calls).
I appreciated the electric fireplace; had issues with the batteries the first day but the owner addressed them quickly.
Owner very responsive during daytime hours. Good at answering questions (in French; I didn't test her English) and giving recommendations. Friendly. Came over at check-in to explain some of the more complex details about the rental… Prompt return of security deposit after check out.

| Beau séjour au chalet chez Aimé. Vraiment un magnifique chalet, bien décoré et équipé. Parfait pour décrocher et relaxer, avec le spa en plus. Propriétaire super disponible pour réponses rapides. Mon fils et moi nous sentions bien !! :)
