Beautiful 4-season cottage located on Lac à la Truite (non-navigable lake) in Saint-Adolphe d'Howard. Ideal for a couple or a family of 4. Peace and tranquility are guaranteed in this little corner of paradise, since it's located at the end of a peninsula and on a dead-end road: ideal for children. Wooded lot and lake access less than 25? from the front door. Beautifully decorated, rustic-chic chalet. Small sandy beach in front of the cottage with a quay. Enjoy swimming and exploring the lake with a pedal boat, kayaks (adult x2, child x1), rowboat and 2 inflatable paddle board (safety vests included). The chalet faces south, so the sun shines all day long. The chalet has 2 floors. On the garden level, you'll have access to 2 bedrooms and a covered terrace with 2 outdoor seats overlooking the lake, ideal for morning coffee! Upstairs you'll find the open-space kitchen and living room, as well as the bathroom with ceramic shower. A 2nd covered terrace lets you enjoy a meal with a view of the lake. This adds a beautiful living area to the chalet. A propane BBQ and outdoor furniture are also available. The 2 garden-level bedrooms offer 1 queen-size bed, as well as double bunk beds below and single bunk beds above. Fans are available for hot days. The chalet is well equipped. A Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, filter coffee maker, raclette grill, fondue pan and microwave are all at your disposal in the kitchen. Salt, pepper, oil and vinegar as well as spices and cleaning products are provided. In the bathroom, toilet paper, shower soap and shampoo are provided.
In the living room, you'll find a flat-screen TV equipped with a Chromecast, enabling you to stream programs from your digital platforms via the home wi-fi. A dvd player is also present. High-speed internet via WiFi is provided.
Bedding and towels are provided.
The chalet is equipped with a baby playpen (graco), a folding highchair and a double stroller with large wheels. A safety gate is installed for the interior staircases. Children's dishes are available. Buckets, spades, etc. are available for outdoor play.
In winter, you can keep warm with the slow-burning fireplace in the living room.
On the property, there's an outdoor fireplace to round off your evenings watching the starry sky and moonlight. Adirondak chairs and an outdoor swing let you enjoy the fire while eating marshmallows or grilled sausages!
The chalet is located just a few minutes from the friendly village of St-Adolphe d'Howard and the village of Saint-Sauveur, where you'll find all the shops and services you need. An IGA, SAQ and bakery are just a 15-minute drive away in Morin-Heights.
Nearby, Mont Avalanche (Saint-Adolphe) and Corridor Aérobique (Morin-Heights) offer a wide range of sporting activities: hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, cross-country skiing, fat-biking and mountain biking. And for those who like rolling roads, there are many great road bike tours. There are also several thermal spas in the area, such as the O'furo spa (10 min. drive).
Golf courses are also nearby.
In winter, several alpine ski resorts are nearby (Saint-Sauveur, Mont Avalanche, Sommet Morin Heights, Mont Habitant, Mont Olympia, Mont Gabriel, Ski Belle-Neige). And of course, skating on the lake in front of the chalet and in the village. A true paradise in the heart of nature!
A mini fridge to keep your drinks cool and close at hand is available in the outside storage.
Note:
- The chalet is water-fed by the lake. Although not recommended for drinking, it's safe to shower and brush your teeth. A spring water cooler and 18L bottles are available.
- Firewood is not provided. You can buy it at the nearby BMR (5 km, 7min).

| Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce petit chalet douillet . Tout est parfaitement pensé, aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, ce qui le rend très confortable et accueillant. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la tranquillité du cadre, idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter de chaque instant. Un grand merci, nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour et nous repartirons avec de très beaux souvenirs .

| Un très mignon petit chalet en bord de lac. Malgré le mauvais temps on a passé un très bon moment. Beaucoup d'équipements extérieurs. Un gros plus aussi.

| Un bijou!
Un lieu de détente comme on en trouve rarement. Juste assez proche de tout, juste assez isolé pour profiter de la généreuse nature des Laurentides. Le chalet est très bien entretenu mais à su garder un cachet authentique. La localisation est idéale ho et comme été: 2 stations de ski a moins de 15 min, pistes de ski de fond au bout du chemin, bord du lac avec équipement pour l'été
Et les propriétaires sont très attentionnés et prêts à recevoir les suggestions.

| Un très beau séjour dans ce chalet confortable et coquet. Cuisine très bien équipée pour ceux et celles qui aiment cuisiner. Propriétaires sympathiques et toujours disponibles. Vue sur le lac, le foyer et lors des marches dans les rues avoisinantes magnifiques lors du tapis blanc. Très bien équipé pour les sports d'été, il doit être agréable de naviguer sur le lac ou encore de s'installer sur l'un des deux balcons ou la cour arrière près du feu.
