? During the winter season (Dec 1 – Mar 30), our chalet is accessible on foot, by snowshoes, or by snowmobile! Start your vacation by enjoying the fresh air with a short 0.5 km walk through nature. A cozy chalet awaits you, far from the stress of everyday life. Guests will have access to sleds to help transport their luggage — a unique Canadian experience!

Located just steps away from the beautiful Plaisance National Park, you can enjoy nature with more than 40 km of cycling and walking trails!
Thanks to its proximity to the Ottawa River, you'll have stunning water views throughout your stay, both inside and outside the chalet. The waterfront area is exclusively yours — ideal for swimming, canoeing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. We provide 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, and 1 canoe free of charge during the summer season.
From the porch, you can take in breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the river. It's the perfect spot to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy your morning coffee wrapped in a cozy blanket — pure comfort.
The property is private and offers several acres of tranquility, with different outdoor areas to relax: rocking chairs, picnic tables, a hammock, and Adirondack chairs.
Our chalet was fully renovated in summer 2023 to give you a unique experience. All furniture, the kitchen, and the bedding (mattresses, sheets, and pillows) are brand-new and spotless to ensure maximum comfort.
Le Spot Caché accommodates up to 8 guests with 3 queen bedrooms and a queen sofa bed with a comfortable memory-foam mattress. Each bedroom has its own unique style and décor, as well as storage space for your luggage. Sheets and pillows are hotel-quality.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy time together. A dishwasher and detergent are also provided for your convenience.
Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace in the chalet's common area — perfect for soothing the soul! Experience aromatherapy through our essential-oil ritual. Aromatherapy has been used since ancient times to naturally relieve fatigue, muscle soreness, and stress.
For your evenings with friends or family, we offer board games in the living room — perfect for unforgettable moments!

You'll have access to our private dock to park your boat. The nearest boat launch is at 98 Rue Henri Bourassa, Papineauville, QC J0V 1R0. More than 80 fish species inhabit this river. Popular catches include smallmouth and largemouth bass, pike, muskellunge, black walleye, and yellow walleye.
Winter (Dec 15 – Mar 31):
The property spans several acres — a true delight for snowshoe lovers. The chalet is just 8 minutes from Plaisance National Park, where you can explore snowshoe trails.
There are also several snowmobile trails nearby.
