Or how about a lazy day at the lakefront, dipping yourself into the pristine water when the summer sun works its magic on your skin? Equally rewarding is a day of snowshoeing or cross country skiiing on the frozen lake or surrounding woods, topped off with a glass of wine in front of the fireplace.
The house is just as charming as its surrounding property, if not more. A true log cabin with all the comforts of a spacious house. Built on three levels, the upper floor is devoted to the master bedroom with a king size bed and en suite bathroom, including separate shower and extra large tub. The main level boasts a huge open living room, which contains more windows than walls, and when you're ready for a view other than the surrounding woods, just pull down the screen, fire up the projector system, and enjoy 100 inches of HD (3D even) quality video that will make you feel like you're in the theater.
Additionally, there is a fully-equipped, charming kitchen with red ceramic tiling and a dinning room perfect for a meal à six, or eight, or ten...you decide. On this floor, you will also find a second bathroom with a claw-foot bathtub aligning the lovely round logs of the outer wall.
The lower level contains an additional three bedrooms, one which also functions as a den. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds and one contains a double. An extra mattress can be added to the den to make this a double room. The laundry room and a third bathroom, equipped with sink, toilet and shower are also located on this floor.
The house is light, airy, peaceful and spacious. There is ample room for cooking, relaxing, playing, eating or even dancing if you should happen to feel so inspired. You'll find everything you need, including fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave, barbeque, cooking utensils, sheets, towels and the like. Come empty handed and take advantage of all the amenities, hand-picked with love.
