Lakefront Chalet in Amherst – 20 Minutes from Mont-Tremblant
Looking to get away for a few weeks in a peaceful setting right on the water? Our chalet is located in Saint-Rémi-d'Amherst, in the Laurentians, about 20 minutes from Mont-Tremblant, on the shores of beautiful Lake Winnetou, a small, quiet and pristine mountain lake.
Surrounded by forest and mountains, the chalet offers a particularly peaceful setting, ideal for a single person or a couple looking to enjoy nature, work remotely, or simply get away for a month or longer.
The chalet has two bedrooms, one full bathroom and one powder room. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including Wi-Fi, an indoor fireplace, BBQ and an outdoor fire pit.
In summer, the lake is perfect for swimming, with direct water access from the property. A pedal boat, two paddleboards and a children's kayak are available for guests. The area is also ideal for walking and hiking, including nearby Montagne d'Argent.
In winter, the area becomes a beautiful snowy retreat. You can cross-country ski or snowshoe around the lake and explore the surrounding trails. For downhill skiing and snowboarding, both Mont Blanc and Mont-Tremblant are within easy driving distance, making the chalet a great home base for enjoying winter in the Laurentians.
Mont-Tremblant, Brébeuf and Amherst are all nearby, along with shops, farms and a grocery store. You can enjoy a true nature getaway without being completely isolated.
Please note: the chalet is located at the end of a rugged forest road, so an AWD vehicle or SUV is strongly recommended. The lake is very peaceful and motorboats are not permitted. The chalet is non-smoking, and pets are not allowed unless agreed upon in advance.
Minimum rental period: 32 days, in accordance with municipal regulations.
An ideal place for anyone looking for peace, nature and lakefront living, just a short drive from Mont-Tremblant.

Enjoy the Laurentians year-round! Swim, kayak, pedal boat or paddleboard directly from the chalet. Hiking and cycling are nearby, including at Montagne d'Argent. In winter, enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing around the lake, plus downhill skiing at nearby Mont Blanc and Mont-Tremblant. A perfect location for outdoor activities in every season.
