The proximity to Route 131 has its pros and cons. Rest assured, the chalet is well soundproofed.
The Space
This small Swiss-style chalet with a wood-finished interior will immediately transport you into a true chalet vibe. Upon entering from the front, you'll be welcomed by the cathedral ceiling in the living room and can relax by the indoor fireplace. The master bedroom and a second smaller bedroom are located in the mezzanine. The living area is open-concept. If you're looking for a lot of privacy in a group setting, this might not be the right place for you. Guests who have enjoyed their stay here have typically been couples with a child or close friends.
An extra folding single bed is also available for groups of up to 5 people.
On the main floor, you'll find the bathroom and our fully equipped kitchen.
Outside, a terrace invites you to enjoy your morning coffee or host a BBQ. In the evening, gather around the indoor fireplace for a cozy family moment, or opt for an outdoor bonfire. For total relaxation, don't miss out on our private hot tub?perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
This place is ideal for those who prefer a warm, nature-filled setting over a large chalet packed with gadgets.
You'll have full and private access to the chalet.
Scenic trails on the property will lead you through nature to a lovely private little stream?perfect for explorers of all ages! There's also a trail leading into the governement land that surrounds the chalet, where you can enjoy peaceful forest walks among the evergreens. Have fun spotting animal tracks, birdwatching, or identifying different mushroom species.
For the more adventurous, you can hike to Lake Kaël and the Matawinie Trail (7 km round trip). Please note that this route is only recommended for experienced hikers, as the paths are not maintained by the park. However, maintained and official trails to Lake Kaël and the Matawinie Trail are available just 5 minutes away by car.
