Charming, relaxing and spacious chalet, located directly on the edge of Petit-Lac Squatec, 5min from the National Park of Lac-Témiscouata (SEPAQ). This haven combines nature and proximity to services!
This cottage is a 4-season paradise:
• Summer: Swimming, fishing, sailing, beautiful sunsets and hoards at dusk…
• Winter: Skiing, skidoo trails nearby, can be taken from the chalet when the lake is frozen.
• Hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing at Lake Témiscouata National Park. Hunting (ZEC).
The chalet has 3 bedrooms, one on each floor; -On the 2nd floor, find a very large bedroom (queen bed) with private balcony and breathtaking lake views. This room also has a sofa bed, comfortably for one person. There is a large bathroom with bath on this floor.
-On the first floor, in an isolated area of the main living area, there is a bedroom (double bed), attached to a bathroom with shower. There is also a large kitchen very well equipped (two ovens, including a gas stove) with a lunch area and an island. The dining room is in this open area and includes a large adjustable table of 6 to 10 seats. There is also the living room with TV with a wood fireplace, and a bathroom.
-In the basement there is a living room with TV and double sofa bed, a bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with shower.
The cottage is spacious, comfortable and soothing. Everyone has their own space.
-Outside in summer; What would a beautiful cottage without BBQ and plancha be? You have everything to enjoy these wonderful moments, from lunch to late evening snack. Enjoy the garden pavilion and admire the beautiful lake view. Rest, have your coffee & roast or just your little evening drink. Enjoy the outside, with the amenities of being inside. Relax and admire the sunset on the large dock.
Jump into the lake from the dock, the water temperature is usually very nice in summer! The chalet offers a large plot with swing and large terrace. It is located on a quiet street, the lake is also quite quiet.
No boats included. You can bring your boat (motors also allowed) and access to the lake can be done from the beach of the village. Otherwise, they normally rent kayak / canoë too.
Concerning the nearby places and services; The cottage is less than 5 minutes from the village. The grocery store is available with SAQ, pharmacy, church, gas station, electric vehicle terminal, library, park with children's games, restaurant and public market in summer.
The cottage is less than 5 minutes from the entrance to the beautiful SEPAQ park of Lake Temiscouata to practice hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, camping, beach.
At 15 minutes, you can find among other things the town of Lac-des-aigles where you can find several other amenities.
